So i've been tagged for this pick seven songs things. Here's my seven aural delights of the week, selected especially by me for you.

Trentemoller: Miss you
What can i say about the Danes. They've really redeemed themselves with this guy. No more Aqua or Whigfield jokes regarding Denmark's electronic music output please. This is a poignant little piece of minimal electronica. Barely-there glitch with a simple, incredibly touching medley.

Einsturzende Neubauten: Sabrina
This tune is also a few years old as well, but i can't stop listening to it repeatedly lately. I have great respect for the band's music and even greater respect for a band that destroyed a stage once with a jackhammer at one of their gigs. Lyrically this song is top notch ( the colours of the German flag red - communism, yellow -capitalism, black - fascism...i think.) Warmth where its rarely found - German industrial. Check out the vid too. strange stuff, but ultimately beautiful.

Ricardo Villalobos: Dexter
Minimal don't come much better than this.

Tricky: Karmacoma
I hope his new stuff lives up to the hype. Not long to wait now.

Pg.lost: Yes I am
Swedish post rock along the lines of Mono. Need is say more?

Stephan Bodzin: Kerosene
No it's not a minimal techno version of the Big Black classic. Yes it's fucking amazing.
His track Sonnenwind gets an honourable mention.

Chequerboard: Konichiwa
Off his Penny Black album, which is outstanding by the way. Great Irish producer and great musician has created a modest masterpiece.
